SCM’s original pamphlet, first created in the 1990s and updated in 2006, is a widely used and popular resource on how the Bible can be read as a tool for liberation of sexual and gender identities, not a weapon. It debunks the ‘clobber passages’ used to oppress LGBT people and points a path towards acceptance and celebration of all people.
Queer and Christian Without Contradiction Bible Studies
This resource is a more in-depth look at how the Bible can liberate and affirm LGBTQ Christians. It contains a variety of Scriptural passages, with group discussion questions and commentary submitted by SCM local units and members from across the country.
