SCM Local Units

Local units are the building blocks of the Student Christian Movement.

Local, autonomous ecumenical communities are our movement’s grassroots. Get involved in the unit nearest you, or we’ll help you start one.

Activities include:

  • Progressive Bible studies and discussion circles
  • Organizing public actions to witness for justice
  • Ecumenical worship and spiritual practices
  • Anti-oppression & theology workshops
  • Interfaith dialogue and social action
  • Retreats & leadership development
