Dates of SOA Pilgrimage announced

The SCM has announced the dates of our annual Pilgrimage of Resistance program,, an inspiring and challenging social justice roadtrip to the School of Americas army base and justice communities along the way – November 18-23! Apply by October 31.

Students will travel from Toronto to a 20,000 + human rights vigil at the gates of the School of the Americas (WHINSEC), notorious for training Latin American (and even Canadian) soldiers in techniques of torture, assassination, extortion and more. Many ruthless dictators are among its graduates. We join with peace activists, students, and churchpeople from across the hemisphere to shut down the school and speak out for justice.
