The Friends of SCM Network is a loosely knit group of supporters and allies of the movement.

This group is made up of both alumni (Senior Friends) and allies of the movement.

• Join the Friends Network! : Contact us (toll-free: 1-877-674-3842 or info@scmcanada.org). Friends receive our student magazine, All Things New, our newsletter, The Movement, and letters from students and senior friends with news from the movement several times a year.

• Support the movement : We rely on our Friends’ faithful support to continue our mission, to bring justice, community and faith together. Help us support student leadership and activism by offering a donation, your time, or prayer.

Many Friends are alumni (also known as “Senior Friends” who support and inspire today’s members - not only through generous financial support, but on our National Board, local volunteering, and sharing their stories, songs, and prayers.

Friends of SCM contribute the majority of SCM’s funding.

The National board of directors also includes a position for a Senior Friend.

A big thanks to our senior friends for all their help over the years.

Some Senior Friends are involved in a local advisory board. Most SCM local units have an advisory board to support the students and help keep the movement stable. They are the people behind the scenes in this student-led organization. Contact us to get involved in your local advisory board
